J.D.Pools brainstorms with franchisees, targeting 1 billion baht and a stock market listing
J.D.Pools took its franchise operators up to Khao Yai to do their homework analysing the swimming pool market, setting a joint strategy targeting sales of 1,000 million baht in 2027 along with a stock market listing, and hinting at the launch of its latest German-innovation product at Architect '67.
Mr Thanusak Phuengdet, Executive Chairman and Managing Director of J.D.Pools Co., Ltd., manufacturer and distributor of quality swimming pools, spoke about the franchise operators' meeting held on 14-16 March 2024 at Toscana Valley, Khao Yai, Nakhon Ratchasima. He said the meeting set out policy for this year and the future, so that operators understand the company's way of thinking and working, and so that together they can analyse market direction and set targets and strategy for shared success in both the short and long term.
Mr Thanusak, Executive Chairman and Managing Director of J.D.Pools Co., Ltd., said J.D.Pools has now reached its 27th year and has built more than 18,000 swimming pools, from large Olympic-size pools to pools for hotels, condominiums, schools and private homes. This has grown into the concept of “Build a pool, build happiness”, meaning a wide range of benefits including exercise, health care and creating a family atmosphere.
The meeting presented the sales policy, which covers several market channels. These include the retail channel, where J.D.Pools has long been strongest and most successful, giving it the number 1 market share in the swimming pool market and a brand that has stayed established for 27 years. Meanwhile, the wholesale channel, the private-sector project market and the government market are also growing and offer new opportunities for operators who want to increase sales and revenue.
“J.D.Pools has given branches nationwide confidence that our business partner, signed at the end of 2023, Chemoform or CF Group, a chemicals and pool equipment group with more than 70 affiliated companies in Germany, France and several other European countries, has granted J.D.Pools exclusive distributor rights for CF Group's water treatment systems and pool equipment in Thailand and the ASEAN market,” said Mr Thanusak.
The Executive Chairman and Managing Director of J.D.Pools also said the meeting shared a mission to push the combined sales of all 22 branches nationwide to 1,000 million baht in 2027, the same year J.D.Pools intends to list the company on the stock exchange.
J.D.Pools will launch at least 4 new products in the near future: 1. iSteel Pool A prefabricated swimming pool of German-standard quality, developed with modern technology so that more people in Thailand can use it. It makes owning a private home pool easier at an affordable price. Details will be revealed at Architect ’24 at IMPACT, Muang Thong Thani, from 30 April to 5 May 2024.
2. Stone Tile Liner (Stone Tile – 3D Liner Series) A pool surface innovation that outperforms tiles, with a texture pattern designed to resemble natural granite. It prevents leaks, the major problem of ordinary pools, 100%. The acrylic-coated surface adds protection and resists scrubbing, slipping, UV light and microbial growth. The tile pattern measures 40 cm x 20 cm and comes in 3 colour tones: Stone Tile Golden, Stone Tile Grey and Stone Tile Elegance.
3. Flat-lid concrete filtration system This lets the filter blend smoothly into the pool and look attractive. The filter tank's parts are made as one piece, reducing leaks, cracking and silicone deterioration.
